Old Hollywood Glamour

I’m so thrilled by the #Oscars2017 – a touch of Old Hollywood Glam with a mod edge.

Love Love Love!!!

Many dresses were to-die-for, some, hhhmmm… there was an element lacking. Confidence, styling, fit, proportions, the wrong colour or style chosen.. I don’t think these did these ladies any justice

It all comes down to STYLING, BALANCE and PROPORTION from head to toe.

Anyone can wear the most expensive designer wear, but one needs to be confident, feel comfortable & amazing, otherwise the whole look falls flat.

Case in point, the collaboration between Stylist Lindsay Flores, Halle Berry and Atelier Versace, ensures that the look is authentic to Versace and Halle’s strong, powerful yet romantic and modern rock & roll edge.

Halle Berry said it best:

“The dress is glamorous with a sense of romance that made me feel feminine and fresh. With this look, I celebrate my natural hair by allowing it to be wild and free.”

It is more about how I feel in the dress than anything else,” said Berry. “I just have to feel my best self.”

Those who got it right, got it totally right – they had it all. Stunning designer dress, heels, makeup, hair, poise and confidence that they looked amazing because they had a stylist who knew what was required for them.

My fave dresses this year were from Versace, Valentino, Marchessa, Dior, Armani Prive, Alberta Ferretti, Givenchy, Chanel, Louis Vuitton.. my list is endless!
As is evidenced below
